The music of YMAY is located mostly in alternative Electronica and is influenced by nature sounds and performed on archaic instruments that are used in their origin or are tweaked by computer based programs. The range goes from 80´s wave beats, across intimate New Age songs to electronic music pieces. Over and above all this, one major element are the multifeceted vocals of Ymay.
YMAY is led by Alex in the role of a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and producer and Ymay in the role of the singer, songwriter and also producer.
